It has distinctive architectural lines that set it apart from all the other houses in the area. Large windows allow plenty of light in all rooms and impart a cheerful atmosphere to the entire house. In the span of fifteen minutes, your car can bring you to the Canyons (less than five minutes), Park City mountain (less than ten minutes) and Deer Valley. No other area can give you this type of variety in a radius of just five miles. Mountains location This is a custom home in upscale neighborhood in the rapidly developing Canyons area. It sits higher than surrounding houses, thus having an unobstructed view of the valley and the surrounding mountains. View Deer Valley, Park City Mountain Resort, The Canyons and the Uinta mountains from all windows. Number that can sleep in the unit: 8 All bedrooms have fantastic view of the valley and slopes. Number of bathrooms: 4.5 Full kitchen Kitchen has granite counters. A central island with burners renders traffic easy and convenient. Two ovens are present for larger parties. Pantry with automatic switch-on light is spacious with lots of shelves. A breakfast area, on the side, is close to the exit into the large deck. The kitchen conveniently opens into the dining area.
Living room The house has plenty of closet space. Some closets are walk-in type. The laundry area is between the garage entrance door to the house and the kitchen. In this area there is also space with a bench for removing boots and ski garments. Three car garage. The garage is heated and has two separate electric doors. A door from the inside, brings into the changing area and laundry room. Phone The house has its own hot tub for 7-8 people. Slopes for all three mountains are within one to 5 miles radius. The Canyons, Park city mountain resort, and Deer Valley are all inside a five mile radius. You can enjoy all three mountains during your visit. Park City offers an active night life, and both cultural and sport activities. The Sundance film festival is held here, as well as numerous concerts and theater presentations. It is only half an hour from Salt Lake City Airport. Large water reservoirs with boating activities in the summer are fifteen minutes away. Mountain biking and hiking trails of all difficulties are found on all three mountains. Ski magazine has defined the Canyons as the most rapidly growing ski area in the nation. The tallest peak (9990) was just opened for this season with lots of open bowls and chute skiing. Because of the next Winter Olympics, scheduled for 2002, a lot of improvements are being made in all three mountains. Particularly at the Canyons, there is a tremendous expansion which will bring this ski area to about 7,000 acres, making it the largest in the country. The house is just adjacent to the Canyons slopes, less than five minutes by car. A car is advised in Park city in order to enjoy the full variety of the place. This is our second home and it is not in the rental pool. We are offering this house for not more than 10 weeks in a year. Winter rates are $500-600/night, minimum 4 nights. Summer and off-season rates start at $2,500/week. For longer stays, winter or summer, we can talk. We would actually prefer longer periods for fewer people.
