Description:
Owner's description of the property: Authentic Italy! I chose this particular area in Marina di Caulonia because of it's richness to the Italian culture. The area is relatively untouched by tourists offering a unique authenticity to your Italian vacation. I mostly enjoy the walks on the beach on the eastern side of "the boot", the beautiful seafront, and the short stroll to the cafes, shopping along the coastline and especially the traditional Italian seafood dishes.The apartment is seafront to the Ionian Sea and beach, situated in a neighborhood amongst the locals, one block to local market, two blocks to town and cafes, and even the public transportation is only two blocks away. There is a promenade or lungomare that runs along the seaside which makes for a nice evening stroll. In the summer season, the promenade comes alive with restaurants, beach bars, live music, and beach sports. Boat harbor is just a five minute drive. I especially love that the Ferry Station to Sicily, Aeolian Islands, and along the Italian Coast is only a short drive away.
